Quick Fields Options - Help

This Options node enables you to configure help settings.

To configure the Help settings

1. Select Tools, Options, expand the Quick Fields node, and select Help.
2. Select your default source for help files.
   
   
   • Use online help: Help files stored on a Laserfiche Website will be displayed in your default Web browser. This option requires an Internet connection and access to http://www.laserfiche.com.

     Best Practice: Use online help to ensure you are receiving the most up-to-date help files.

   • Use local help: Help files installed locally with Quick Fields 8 will be used. No Internet connection is required.
3. Check for Internet connection for online help: Specify whether Quick Fields 8 should check to see if you have an Internet connection before using online help. If this option is selected, Quick Fields 8 will resort to local help in the event an Internet connection is not available. In most cases, this option should be selected.
